So, here's my cover of Smile, Smile, Smile, , arr. by myself. Another bandwagon to jump onto, but this time I have a good reason. I got my hands on a good number of big band samples, and I wanted to learn to manipulate them within my DAW of choice. So, instead of writing a whole new song and possibly overloading myself with all sorts of changes, I decided to just go ahead and make my eventual FiM Cover Song and learn to use the samples all at the same time! Productivity!
This was a lot of fun, what with the learning of wav sampling/manipulation, LTrain's solos, and personal leaps and bounds occurring here at home, I almost feel like in my efforts to transform the song into a whole new experience, it transformed me as well! I'm glad I worked on this project, or I feel that might be halfway to Austin to join some garage band and live in my car.
